Rangpur Express engine crippled : communication disrupted

Sirajganj Correspondent: Rail service between Dhaka and North and South Bengal has been disrupted due to engine failure near Railway Bridge No. 32 in the area between Ullapara and Lahirimohanpur railway stations in Sirajganj. Ullapara station master Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.
He said the Rangpur Express train on its way to Rangpur suddenly came to this area around 12:30 pm and its engine went off.
He ferther said rail communication with the north and south was closed for the time being, adding that a salvage engine was going to bring back the train. the train will be brought to Ullapara station by rescue engine and the train movement will be normalized.
